Pro Bono work

If you are living with type 1 diabetes

As a diabetes educator, I have seen firsthand the distress that can come with living with type 1 diabetes. One of the most frustrating things a clinician can hear is that someone living with type 1 diabetes was never offered diabetes education. Everyone living with type 1 diabetes deserves to have no-barrier support for managing this 24/7 condition.

No-cost support

If you know someone living with type 1 diabetes who hasn’t yet worked with a diabetes educator, please point them towards The Signature Plate. I offer case-by-case, no-cost services to assist in care coordination to connect people living with type 1 diabetes with support and resources available to them.
